• He previously worked at TSMC and has received major industry honors, including the Outstanding Alumni Award from National Tsing Hua University and the ERSO Award.

• He led the turnaround of Polaris Pharmaceuticals, guiding its strategic reorganization and successful Taiwan Stock Exchange listing in 2022.

• He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.

• Mr. Yi-Kuei Chen serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Apollomics.

• He brings over two decades of leadership experience in biotechnology, venture capital, asset management, private equity, and corporate governance.

• He is a co-founder of Maxpro Ventures, where he helped execute more than 60 private equity transactions across the U.S. and Asia-Pacific region.

• His investment experience includes companies such as Acepodia, SyneuRx, GenScript, JHL Biotech, Foresee Pharmaceuticals, HEC Pharma, and ACT Genomics.

• He previously held senior roles at Integral Group and Central Investment Holdings, where he managed investments, led transactions, and served on multiple portfolio company boards.

• He holds an MBA from Syracuse University and an M.S. from the University of Minnesota.

• Dr. Chen has served as an independent director of Apollomics since March 2023, bringing extensive experience in therapeutics R&D, regulatory strategy, and company operations.

• He was CEO and Chairman of Maxpro Capital Acquisition Corp., which merged with Apollomics in March 2023.

• He served as Managing Partner at Maxpro Ventures from 2018 to 2024.

• He previously held management and R&D roles at SyneuRx, Meridigen, Celgene, Amcyte, and VivoRx, and currently serves as a director at U-NEURON Biomedical and LaunXP Biomedical.

• He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers and UMDNJ, and completed postdoctoral training in neuroscience at Caltech.

• Mr. Jerry Tsai has served as an independent director of Apollomics since 2025, bringing over 25 years of executive and managerial experience.

• He has expertise in venture capital, industry development, corporate financing, M&A, and restructuring.

• He previously held senior roles at Ting Hsin International Group, the Institute of Information Industry, and Hon Hai Precision Industry/Foxconn’s venture capital company.

• He has served as CFO of Jiangxi Solar PV Company and Suzhou Golden Crown New Energy Company, supporting governance, restructuring, and internal control improvements.

• He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from National Taipei University and a Managerial MBA in Finance from Kent State University.

• Dr. Claudia Huang has served as an independent director of Apollomics since 2025, bringing extensive experience in biotechnology investment, corporate governance, and scientific research.

• She currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Maxpro Ventures, where she leads domestic and international investment activities and oversees post-investment portfolio operations.

• Previously, she was an Investment Manager at Diamond Biofund, where she executed multiple investments, managed portfolio companies, and contributed to the firm’s successful 2023 IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

• Earlier in her career, Dr. Huang served at Fubon Securities Investment Services, evaluating more than 150 unlisted biotechnology companies across Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong.

• Dr. Huang holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from National Taiwan University College of Medicine and an M.S. in Biological Sciences from National Sun Yat-sen University, with prior research experience at NHRI, DCB, and Academia Sinica.

• Mr. Hung-Hsien Yen brings to the Board over 25 years of extensive experience in private equity and direct investments, with profound expertise in investment evaluation and corporate governance.

• Mr. Yen currently serves as the Chairman of SINO SUN CAPITAL INVESTMENT CO., LTD. In addition, he serves as an Independent Director of STL Technology Co., Ltd. and KOJEM INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD.

• Mr. Yen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from National Chengchi University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Syracuse University.
