Dr. Claudia Huang has served as an independent director of Apollomics since 2025. She brings to the Board extensive experience in biotechnology investment, corporate governance, and scientific research, spanning Taiwan’s biopharmaceutical, venture capital, and life sciences sectors.

Dr. Huang currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Maxpro Ventures, where she leads both domestic and international investment activities. Since joining the firm in 2024, she has successfully completed multiple strategic investments and continues to oversee post-investment operations across the portfolio. She also serves as a director of AngenMed Therapeutics, supporting its corporate development and strategic initiatives.

Previously, Dr. Huang was an Investment Manager at Diamond Biofund (6901:TT), where she independently executed numerous investments and oversaw post-investment management for all portfolio companies. She also contributed to Diamond Biofund’s successful IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2023, strengthening the firm’s position as a leading biotech investment institution in Taiwan.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Huang served as Deputy Manager in the Research Department at Fubon Securities Investment Services, where she evaluated more than 150 unlisted biotechnology companies across Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. Her work played a significant role in expanding Fubon’s investment banking activities and contributing to notable growth in profitability.

In addition to her investment career, Dr. Huang has a strong scientific background, having conducted research at the National Health Research Institutes, the Development Center for Biotechnology, and Academia Sinica. Her doctoral research on Epstein-Barr virus was published in Blood and earned the Distinguished Thesis Prize in the 12th TienTe Lee Biomedical Award.

Dr. Huang holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from National Taiwan University College of Medicine and an M.S. in Biological Sciences from National Sun Yat-sen University.
